The past eighteen months has probably been the most successful period in the history of our school.
In March 2007 we were identified as 'An Outstanding School' by OfSTED following a school inspection. They greatly praised our school and a copy of the full report can be seen here.

Last year’s Year 11 performed extremely well in their GCSEs
and other examinations; once again making us one of the
very top performing schools in the county.
- 73% of the year group gained 5+ A*-C grades at GCSE
- 62% gained 5 or more of the top grades including English
and Maths
- Results from our groups entering AS level were again very
strong even though students were undertaking the course
at least a year early
