ADMISSIONS POLICY 2020-21

Admission Arrangements for Transfer to Years 7 and 12 in September 2020 or joining a year group during 2020/21 academic year.

These Admission Arrangements have been carefully developed to ensure that parents and students have all the necessary information required in order to apply for a place at either Huish Episcopi Academy or Huish Sixth.

Applications should be received by 6 January but applications after this time will be considered.

 

IN-YEAR APPLICATIONS

To apply for a place within the 2019/2020 academic year please complete an application form which can be downloaded here. A paper copy can be requested from Huish Sixth. Application forms can be submitted via email or by post to Huish Sixth on the contact details above.

 

ADMISSION POLICY 2021-2022

These Admission Arrangements are currently being reviewed and will be available to download her from March 2020.

 

OPEN EVENING

We will be holding our open evening on Wednesday 16th October 2019 which is a great opportunity for perspective parents and pupils to come and have a look at Huish Sixth and see what we can offer. You can talk to staff, pupils and our leadership team. 

 

APPEALS PROCESS

If your child has been not been offered a place at Huish Sixth you have the legal right to appeal against the decision. Details of the appeal process, timetable and an appeal form will be enclosed with your decision letter or email which also gives the reasons for refusal.
