The Board of Members' most important role is to hold the Board of Directors to account.
The Members do this in a 'hands-off' manner, through monitoring the work of the Board of Directors. This is done by hearing directly from the Board of Trustees with a report on the quality of governance, and the receipt of the Academy Accounts and external Audit Report once a year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), as well as any additional updates/information on progress made and plans going forward.
The Members meet as a group once each term.
