Due to the red weather warning and the extreme heat forecast over the next two days, we have taken the decision to fully close the school on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June
In line with guidance from Somerset Council and the Department for Education, we have made every effort to remain open. However, following continued review, we have concluded that closure is necessary in order to safeguard the welfare of both students and staff.
During the closure, students will be able to access learning via Microsoft Teams, Sparx and Seneca.
The Sixth Form induction day scheduled for tomorrow will be postponed. A new date will be shared with all parents and students by the end of the week.
We look forward to welcoming all students back to school on Friday 26th June.
