  • Weather Update

    Published 27/01/26

We know that specific surrounding areas of school have been disrupted by floodwater this morning - we hope that bus companies will be in direct contact with parents/carers, as we have not received updates from many.

    We believe that the following Berrys buses are not operating: 192, 384, 397, 532, 061, 306, 475, 732.

Other buses that we believe have cancelled are: 062, 028, C170, 049, 058, C601B. The 060 will be late.

We will continue to update our social media and this article as we receive more information regarding buses.

School remains open to students, and we look forward to welcoming any and all students that are able to get to school for lessons as normal.

Please continue to contact us regarding absence through the usual manner.

  • A Message from Mrs Boyes

    Published 27/01/26

    Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for your support and patience this morning as we managed the impact of the local flooding and severe weather. Our staff have worked hard to ensure that the school could open as normal, but we fully understand that some students may have experienced delays on their journey in.

Unfortunately, communication from the bus company to us was limited, delayed, or in some cases inaccurate. We will be following this up with them directly, though we do appreciate that they have also faced a very challenging morning.

To ensure all students and staff are able to travel home safely later today, there will be no after‑school clubs running this afternoon. Students will need to be collected in the usual way at 3:30pm.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely as the day progresses and will provide further updates if needed.

Thank you once again for your understanding and cooperation.

    Kind regards,
    Katie Boyes

  • Update: Temporary School Email Address

    Published 05/01/26

Following the notice regarding the ongoing issue affecting our email domain, we would like to provide an update. Our external provider is working to resolve the issue. However, they are currently unable to provide a clear timeframe for when normal service will be restored.

To ensure we can continue to communicate effectively during this period, we have set up a temporary email address:

    office@huishepiscopi.org

When contacting the Academy with this email address, please include the name of the intended recipient in the subject line so that our office team can direct your message appropriately. Due to the increased volume of messages that will need to be triaged, responses from staff may take longer than usual. We appreciate your patience with this.

Alternatively, please call the Academy's office on 01458 250501. The Academy's office is open 8 am - 4:30 pm on weekdays.

Thank you again for your understanding.

  • Email Domain Issue

    Published 05/01/26

We have been made aware of an issue with our email domain provider, and we have not been able to receive any external emails as of 22 December 2025. This means that unfortunately, if you have emailed the school office or any member of staff over the school holiday, it will not have been received.

We are working to rectify this as soon as possible, and will keep parents and carers updated.

In the meantime, if you have an urgent query, our phone lines are open on 01458 250501 until 3:30 pm today (Monday 5 January). As of tomorrow, Tuesday 6 January, our phone lines will be open 8 am - 4:30 pm on weekdays.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
